Louisiana issues another emergency declaration over ransomware

For the second time in six months, Gov. John Bel Edwards issued an emergency declaration following a ransomware attack. Edwards had previously activated Louisiana's cybersecurity emergency team. His order Friday lifts penalties and fines for people who missed filing deadlines because of government office closures due to the cyberattack. Benjamin Freed has more.

FCC orders wireless providers to share 'vertical location' data

A new FCC ruling will begin over the next four years to require wireless carriers to share the "vertical location" data of many of their 911 callers. This data, according to the emergency management groups who supported the ruling, will help first responders more quickly locate callers located inside multi-story buildings. Ryan Johnston reports.
