Behind the scenes of Nevada’s IT restructuring, digital service boost

On this week’s Priorities podcast, Nevada Chief Information Officer Timothy Galluzi explains how moving the state’s IT office from the Department of Administration to the Office of the Governor is helping his team become a “great enabler of government services.” Nevada’s legislature last year codified the move and made Galluzi a member of Gov. Joe Lombardo’s Cabinet. “I think that really emphasizes the way he views that technology can be a great enabler of government services, and create a more efficient and effective government for Nevadans,” Galluzi says.
