Georgia residents can now add copies of their driver's licenses to an iPhone or Apple Watch, and use them as valid ID at the Atlanta airport.

Interest in Louisiana's LA Wallet app has tripled with the implementation of a law requiring adult content sites to verify users' ages.

Maryland follows Arizona in making its IDs compatible with the Apple Wallet app, though they're only accepted at two airports for now.

The state is the first to make its driver's licenses available in Apple Wallet, though so far, they can only be used at the Phoenix airport.

The state's mobile app, LA Wallet, will now enable residents to carry digital hunting and fishing permits on their smartphone.

Led by Arizona and Georgia, a group of states will soon allow residents to upload their driver's licenses to the Wallet app.

The company said iPhone owners from "participating states" will be able to scan their government IDs into their devices as part of an iOS update.

Arizona officials said the new service offers additional convenience and security, but they're still encouraging people to carry a physical card, just in case.
