Secretary of State Jena Griswold said Mesa County must replace its voting technology after a conspiracy website posted video of the devices' passwords.
"It has to stop," Gabriel Sterling, who manages the state's voting systems, said after a young technician received death threats fueled by far-right social media.
The Dominion Voting Systems equipment, which is the target of baseless rumors promoted by President Donald Trump, was an "unqualified success," officials said.
