Public-sector veteran Vinod Brahmapuram will take over as the top IT security official in Washington after the hasty departure of Ronald Buchanan last month.

Ronald Buchanan said WaTech has faced some rough times but that the time has arrived to regain its fellow statewide agencies' trust.

On Jan. 22, Ronald Buchanan will fill a position left vacant since the departure of Agnes Kirk last summer.
