Linda Ho, Campus Privacy Officer, University of California – Berkeley

As Campus Privacy Officer at UC Berkeley, Lisa Ho protects and promotes the University’s privacy values through policy and governance, compliance oversight, outreach, and process design. Lisa’s professional experience as senior advisor, manager, and analyst spans the domains of policy, risk, compliance, privacy, technology, and information security. She has led IT Policy at UC Berkeley and San Francisco State University, and has further Information Technology management and analysis experience in the technology and retail sectors.

Greg Minter, Lieutenant, Mansfield ISD Police Department

Greg Minter is the Lieutenant for the Mansfield ISD Police Department. He has 19 years of experience as a peace officer in the state of Texas with the past 11 years at the Mansfield ISD Police Department. Since 2008, Lt. Minter has been involved in the implementation and supervision of Mansfield ISD’s video surveillance, controlled access, and fire alarm systems. In 2011, Mansfield ISD passed a multi-million dollar bond that included 12 million dollars for the implementation of video surveillance and controlled access in every MISD building. To date, MISD has 1,700 IP based surveillance cameras installed throughout the district.

Greg Herbold, Director – U.S. Public Sector Programs, Hewlett Packard Enterprise

Greg Herbold is Director of U.S. Programs for State and Local Government and Education (SLED) for Hewlett Packard Enterprise. He has spent years creating solutions that HPE and its partners leverage to help schools and governments modernize their IT, build their foundation for mobility and big data, and accelerate their journey to the cloud. He is a frequent industry speaker on technology in government, STEM education, and the IT challenges and opportunities brought about by state education standards, high stakes testing, and the digital classroom. In 2015 he received a StateScoop 50 award for Industry Leadership of the Year.

As the leader of US SLED programs, he oversees strategy and planning, marketing, sales programs, channel partner development, contracts, and industry relations. Previously, he served as Market General Manager leading HP’s cross-functional engagements with SLED customers in a four-state territory covering VA, NC, SC, and TN. Prior to SLED, he was a Global Accounts Manager in the Service Provider and Manufacturing industries.

Jeff Burgess, President, BCDVideo

Jeff Burgess’ career has spanned over 37 years in various segments of the computer industry. After a brief exploration of college, Burgess started in the computer industry as a company shipper, learned from the inside out, and 7 years later served as Vice President of Sales, at that same company. His career continued at three other years in two-tier distribution and another ten years as a Business Development Manager targeting Fortune 500 companies, Burgess founded Burgess Computer Decisions, Inc. (BCD) in 1999. BCD started as an IT reseller, building HP servers for Fortune 500 companies.

In 2008, Mr. Burgess began transitioning the company to the video surveillance storage market. In 2010, the company became authorized as an HP Global OEM Partner for video storage, taking baseline ProLiant servers and re-engineering them for use in video storage and access control applications.
