Kimbriel named Texas DIR COO
The Texas Department of Information Resources has promoted Todd Kimbriel to chief operations officer.
Kimbriel has served as the director of the state’s eGovernment Division since 2008 where he oversaw the Data Center Services program teams, which assist agencies participating in the managed state data center program.
Kimbriel has a long history of working in information technology. He worked for Broadwing Communications for almost nine years and was with the company when it was acquired by Level 3 Communications.
He also spent more than seven years at Airline Software Inc. and was an independent IT consultant for more than eight years earlier in his career.
It is with pleasure that I announce Todd Kimbriel as the new Chief Operations Officer. Todd will bring new vision and innovation to DIR.
