North Carolina CIO recently honored
North Carolina Chief Information Officer Chris Estes was recently named one of the Triangle Business Journal’s CIO Awards winners for 2014.
Estes was one of 20 individuals selected from North Carolina’s research triangle for the awards, which honor people who used information technology in innovative ways to create competitive advantages and optimize business processes to enable growth.
“CIOs and top executives in the technology sector improve efficiencies, create revenue opportunities and keep ingenuity alive in workplaces,” Triangle Business Journal Publisher Bryan Hamilton said. “This year’s class reflects all those qualities, and how they are strengthening the area’s IT backbone.”
Estes was honored earlier this year with a StateScoop 50 Award in the State Leadership category. He has also taken time to sit down with StateScoopTV to discuss important projects he is focused on in North Carolina.
